Since 2015, Almedahls has operated CO₂-neutral production powered entirely by renewable, fossil-free energy. While many in the industry are still on their way to decarbonisation, we are already operating beyond the goals set by the European Commission’s 2030 Agenda.
For us, sustainability defines how we work — from material sourcing and energy use to logistics and product development. Every improvement moves us closer to a truly circular model where nothing goes to waste.

Five Zero Green as the foundation for sustainable progress
Our Five Zero Green program is the foundation of our sustainability work. It guides how we develop, manufacture and market products for public and private interiors with minimal environmental impact throughout their lifetime.
The program aligns with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and Agenda 2030, focusing on continuous improvement and long-term responsibility. Together with our partners, we aim to achieve zero waste, zero emissions, zero harmful chemicals, zero accidents and zero tolerance for unethical behaviour.
Our Swedish production facility operates CO₂-neutral and fossil-free, powered by renewable energy and driven by our shared commitment to reduce greenhouse gases and protect the climate. These principles guide every part of our process — shaping the way we design, produce and work together for lasting change.
Certified for trust and transparency
Our sustainability work is verified by independent certification systems. All our fabrics meet the requirements of OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, ensuring they are safe for both people and the planet.
